How to Buy Harps or Accessories:

To purchase an item on our website, select the product and click “Order Now”. Once you complete the checkout process, your purchase is completed.
If you are a harp distributor purchasing for resale, you are requested to contact us directly via email or phone. We will supply you with wholesale prices and economical combined shipping. Distributors help harps users by providing after-sales services locally. We can limit our direct sales in market segments where we have a distributor.

Lead Time:

Harp orders of 2 or less are usually shipped within 10-15 days. Accessories ship in 3 working days, if they are in stock. Time for shipment of wholesale orders depends on the volume of order. Our Company usually keeps a stock of instruments for regular buyers to minimize lead time.

Home Delivery by Postal Service:

This is the favorite shipping method for Lap Harps. This is the only shipper who ignores box size and calculates shipping charges on weight, alone. Other companies charge by the size of the box rather than its actual weight. Due to the  large size of harp boxes, shipping cost is many times more expensive than people expect.

The Postal Service does not carry larger than 27 Strings Harps. It is a cost effective option with partial online tracking, although it is slower and less secure.

Home Delivery by FedEx:

This is the preferred shipping method for harp accessories. Normal delivery time is 3-5 days to deliver a parcel to your address.

It is Expensive, Secure and offers full online tracking. Strings Instruments is contracted with Fedex to offer competitive prices. Fedex is known world-wide for reliability and speed of delivery.

Airport Delivery:

Air Cargo is the preferred shipping method for large harps, worldwide. Harps are shipped from our factory  to your nearest international airport. You (or your shipping agent) must go to the airport to collect the shipment and clear your country’s customs requirements.

Our Company is a member of the REX System, which means that minimum import taxes/taxes will be charged in USA, Europe and some other countries. Mikel Harps has an ongoing contract with Emirates Airline, so we may offer more competitive prices to destinations served by Emirates.

Air Cargo is the cost-effective, fast and safe shipping method, offering full online tracking.

 Seaport Delivery:

This shipping method is preferred by distributors who buy harps in bulk. Shipping cost is almost 80% lower than the air cargo. Customers must make arrangements to collect the harp shipment from the destination seaport.

Seaport Delivery is safe and secure and reliable, but no online tracking and takes about 25-40 days for delivery. Lot of port charges are standard regardless the volume of shipment. So it is only preferred for minimum of 4 harps.

Customs & Import Duties/ Taxes:

When you place an order online, we will confirm receipt of the order by email. If order by phone or email, we will provide a pro-forma invoice. With all orders we quote shipping only, not including customs clearance, local transport (for airport/seaport deliveries), duties or taxes. We charge our actual shipping costs, including crating, document handling, and cartage. The customer arranges their own customs clearance and local delivery, and pays applicable taxes and fees at clearance.
